"Professionalism - Take Pride"

"Hospitality Professionals: Take pride in what you do"

SAMPLE:

There is that venerable saying in the retail and hospitality industry that “the customer is always right.” As a hospitality professional, for the most part, I agree: We have to treat our members with high respect, because it is they who give us the opportunity to deliver our best work and presentation, and to also make a decent living by plying our trade. Our member’s satisfaction is the very source of our pride as professionals. I believe that we should not only treat our members as if they are right, but as hospital professionals we should know what is right for them.

Hospitable means “friendly and welcoming to stranger or guests” or, “a pleasant and favorable environment.” And that is really the point and purpose or our pride. The most important gesture we can make to maintain pride in our industry is to always treat our members with that type or utmost respect, even embrace these strangers as if they were family. All we want is for them to return again and again, and that return provides a direct reflection of our pride.
