Time is a valued commodity. We often think if we had more time everything would be ok, but not so, for there are only 24 hours in a day and we take time for granted. Not having enough time in a day is often our biggest complaint. The focus should be on how much time we have to use instead of time we don’t have. I’m one who checks clock constantly. As Thomas Monson has said, ‘There is no tomorrow to remember if we don’t do something today.’ Nothing feels better than trying your best.

With various things going, I time myself. When running out of time you will not accomplish what is needed to be done. Take time to list objectives. This can alleviate the problem when it comes to making a decision on goals. At some point, one must slow down, reevaluate how to spend time, leave your job at work, and get plenty of rest which ensures a positive mind frame. Spend some quiet time just doing you (Me time). The key is knowing when to say no. Time management skills will help make the best of your time.

Figure out exactly where you spend time and work on improving it.” It is not enough if you are busy. “The question is, what are you busy about?-Henry David Thoreau

If I’m doing things or tasks for myself, time would not matter.

Professor and class,

Much of my day, and like many others is ruled by a clock, pretty much three quarters of my day. I look at a clock quite often from the time I get up until I go to bed at night. The main reason I keep on checking the time regularly is to ensure I follow my daily schedule and accomplish all the tasks that I need to get done and that I set for the day. Each task has its own time. In case I utilize much of my time on preceding responsibilities, I may fail to complete all the duties at the end of the day. Therefore technology comes into play in various ways. For instance, I do walk to various chores each day, like the store or library, but if I notice that I am running late I use my local public service vehicles to help me catch up with those certain chores. This is all about technology in the transportation sector. The same case applies when am going for my part time job in the evening. My company also requires that we deliver some documents such as invoice and payment vouchers to the clients. However, in circumstances we are unable to deliver in person, I do email them either using a computer, a tablet, or a Smartphone, hence, saving on time.

“Conventional wisdom fails to understand that operating in a time-limited mode involves significantly different behavior and attitudes from operating in a goods-limited mode”(Gilman, R)

If I had no way to tell time for an entire day in my own world, I could be missing out many opportunities and not being able to get to the places that I need to get to for the day, especially my job. In most cases, I could have failed to accomplish all my daily schedules by the time I go to bed for the night. I always like to schedule my day ahead of time so that I can prepare myself for the day using time and technology each and every day of my life. I always work with time to catch with all scheduled programs and errands throughout my day.
