Reflection of Practicum Experience
(my experience was led by a Patient Nurse Educator from Duke University)
Write a two page self-evaluation explaining how the practicum has affected his/her perception of nursing practice. Explain how the knowledge gained will be used in your future practice as a nurse educator. Include what you would have done differently, what you particularly enjoyed and what you felt was the most beneficial. Identify areas of additional learning that you would like to have had but did not have the opportunity to do so. Reflect on your growth in relation to the core competencies for the academic nurse educator or administrator.
