Qualitative research methods (Respond to another student)

ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS: QUALITATIVE RESEARCH METHOD

We are studying about research methods used (Epidemiology)

  1. I need to respond to the assignment of another student. It’s basically writing another paper using our own references (Not the ones from the student). See the uploaded “student assignment I need to respond to”

- Discuss about Qualitative research studies in general--- WE NEED TO FIND A STUDY THAT EXPLAINS ABOUT QUALITATIVE RESEARCH METHODS to help with this part and to reference (Scholarly article)

- Then discuss how useful or important qualitative studies are to be used in chronic diseases and provide examples (In what circumstance they are used in chronic disease research)

- I’m uploading 2 qualitative studies on Chronic disease (COPD & CKD)—explain how qualitative studies help health providers to understand the experiences patients experience through chronic diseases---perceptions, reasons for non-compliance with treatment, cultural factors, lack of knowledge about benefits of tx.--- Study results help to plan strategies on how to help patients to overcome these challenges. YOU CAN ADD other thoughts depending on your research

- Read the student assignment, it will give you ideas

  1. PLEASE USE MY REFERENCES, I’m attaching all the articles and copies of my text book). If you want to use an extra reference, it must be scholarly, peer reviewed article. Please include DOI numbers on the reference page (It’s required in APA). References MUST be scholarly journal articles (Nothing from conferences, other text books online, goggle, .com).
  2. This assignment is for the DNP class and the grading is rigorous including grammar and APA style.
  3. Reminder: please avoid using “This, this is why, these, It” at the beginning of sentences! This is not clear for the reader and is not use in formal writing. Also avoid “as well as” as much as possible.
  4. Please don’t forget citations throughout the paper.
