Nursing Assignment 1
Purpose: To identify and articulate a nursing vision for improved quality of care for patients/clients based on the ANA Nursing’s Social Policy Statement.
The following Course Objectives are reflected in this assignment:
CO 1: Recognize emerging issues and trends that impact nursing and health care with emphasis on the roles of the advanced practice nurse.
CO 4: Utilize evidence-based practice research to make recommendations for health care reform.
Assignment: Please read Nursing’s Social Policy Statement.
Submit a formal APA 6th ed. paper addressing each of the following areas. The length of the paper excluding title page and reference list should be no longer than 3 pages. A minimum of three scholarly resources in addition to your text are needed to support this paper. It is acceptable to write in first person for this assignment.

1. Introduce your nursing vision for improved quality of care for your patients/clients. I work in the department of psychiatry specifically I am an Electroconvulsive Therapy nurse.
2. Articulate emerging issues and trends that impact your nursing vision.
3. Provide specific examples of the impact and/or importance of your nursing vision for improved quality care based on the ANA statement. Be sure to address the ANA Statement.
4. Conclude the paper with a summary of the content.
5. Include a reference list in APA format.
