Health Care Problem

There are various heath care problems in the country. First, the health care cost in United States has increased greatly for the last five years due to poor allocation of resources. This has made it difficulty for people living in United States to access health care. Majority of the citizens in the country live below the poverty line and they are unable to access health care services. The citizens do not have stable jobs as they rely on casual jobs. This has hindered the residents from getting health care services. The United States government does not have enough finances to provide quality care to the citizens. This has in turn led to low quality services in most hospitals. In addition, most citizens in the country do not have medical covers. This is because the citizens do not have permanent jobs. Only rich people and the insured are able to get quality care (Gapenski, 2007).

Further, most insurance firm do not provide enough heath care covers to the patients. This is because the health insurance firms do not have enough finances to cater for heath care services. Most people depend on financial assistance from Medicare. The Medicare spending increased drastically as it accounted 17% of the US heath care spending. The Medicare and Medicaid expenses are likely to increase in future as number of people receiving help from the organizations has increased. The government has identified ways to solve the increasing health care cost. For example, the government allocates its financial resources well. It also ensures each citizen has a medical insurance cover. This has made it easy for the patients to access heath care services and hence reduced government spending. The solutions are effective as they have helped reduce the cost of care in the country (Gapenski, 2007).

There is a great difference between forecast and budget. Organizations are supposed to prepare a budget after setting the objectives. A budget is a plan used to allocate income towards expense and debts in the organization. A forecast is an expectation of what is like to happen in the organization. For instance, predicting future sales (Fnker &Ward, 2006).
