Purpose:
The purpose of this Assignment is to give you a practical application to implement your PICOT idea, supported by the evidence-based research you have obtained in during your systematic review. You will apply evidence-based research findings discovered from your clinical question, and then integrate those to support your suggested change in nursing practice.
Directions:
Identify your refined PICOT question.
\”How do pregnant women (P) newly diagnosed with diabetes (I) manage the disease process and perceive reporting their blood sugar levels (O) to their healthcare providers during their pregnancy and six weeks postpartum (T)?\”
Using PubMed and the Cochrane collaboration database, do a systematic review of your clinical question.
Describe your systematic review and include an errors analysis.
Determine an evidence-based quantitative article from the search that contains an evidence-based randomized control trial.
Summarize the case study selected.
Describe the study approach, sample size, and population studied.
Apply the evidence from this review to your practice specifically in your overview.
Evaluate the outcomes, identifying the validity and reliability.
Discuss if the study contained any bias.
Determine the level of evidence identified in the review.
The length should be no less than 6 Pages in APA format

State your PICO question that you have been developing all term you may incorporate your first paper from unit 2 as your introduction for this paper
You will write an APA formatted essay paper that will incorporate research evidence that supports your PICO question and also discuss how this can relate to a change you would like to implement in practice
Find one systematic review in the literature that is current (within 5-7 years) and one RCT that is also current that supports your topic/PICO/practice change
Discuss data bases and search terms
Discuss and summarize each article one at a time as you would do in a literature review: Include in your discussion the following: problem, purpose and scope, design and reliability and validity of findings and level of evidence
Your paper should be around 6-8 pages although length is not paramount as long as you address the topics sufficiently
There are no specified reference requirements on the grading rubric so I would like to see 4-5 references for full points, you should have some references in your problem statement and then other supporting references for your discussion of methods, etc.
You may also incorporate and discuss a change model for implementation if you wish, but that is not part of the grading rubric
